CARING FOR OUR NEIGHBOR: Community Programs
Feeding Fridays Ministry for the Community: Every other Friday we will have an open pantry for those who wish to come. This ministry is for the entire family, this is a client's choice. We will get you and invite you into the space and support you as you make your choices, then load it into your car. We love our neighbors and believe this is the good work God calls us to be a part of, YOU are Loved!
Community Garden:We have a community garden that we plant and harvest for the benefit of the community. In the last couple of years, we have harvested over 1,000 pounds of produce to be given to anyone in need, we also have taken produce to the local food pantries for distribution to the greater community.
BIG NEWS! We will be enlargening the Garden this year to better support other pantries and people with fresh food options. We can use anyone who can come support the growing and harvesting season.
Mini Pantry:Located in the parking lot of the church is a mini pantry that we keep stocked with essentials and staples for families to use. This is 100% funded out of generosity from those in this community.
CAMS BackPack Ministry: We support children with the school for meals for children to take home for weekends.
These are a few ministries that we are blessed to be a part of, if you would like to share in the grace of Jesus and would like to come and be a part of these ministries you are welcome.
